Born on June 12, 1981 (Jestha 29, 2038 BS) in Kirtipur, Subedi has spent nearly 25 years working across Nepal’s tourism sector. His career spans tourism promotion, academic research, teaching, travel writing, and strategic communications, with a strong emphasis on linking tourism to culture, heritage, community development, and sustainability rather than viewing it solely as an economic activity.

During his tenure at the Nepal Tourism Board, Subedi contributed to destination promotion, branding, public relations, and digital communications.
