Kathmandu . Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the latest foreign exchange rates for today. According to the updated rates, the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is set at NPR 92.84, while the selling rate stands at NPR 93.23. Similarly, one Canadian Dollar is being bought at NPR 100.94 and sold at NPR 101.36.
The rates for the European Euro and the UK Pound Sterling have also seen adjustments. The buying rate for one Euro is fixed at NPR 163.25 and the selling rate at NPR 163.94. Meanwhile, one Pound Sterling is being bought at NPR 186.19 and sold at NPR 186.98.
NRB has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as per necessity. It has also noted that the rates determined by commercial banks may slightly vary and advised the public to check the updated figures on the central bank’s official website.
Foreign currency exchange rates hold significant importance as they directly affect Nepal’s import-export activities and international financial transactions.
