Kathmandu . The 17th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2025, organized by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, concluded today (Bhadra 8) with grandeur at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The show was inaugurated by Rt. Hon. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and officially closed under the chief guestship of Hon. Minister for Health and Population, Mr. Pradeep Paudel.

Sponsored by UNITREE (MAW Vriddhi), this year’s Auto Show attracted a record 176,789 visitors, making it the largest in NADA’s history. The exhibition showcased the latest international automobile models, including futuristic flying vehicles, robotic technology, and a wide range of electric vehicles, drawing massive public attention. Observers described the 2025 edition as bigger, more vibrant, and more successful than ever before.
Despite the slowdown in Nepal’s automobile market, the Auto Show has been seen as a significant boost to the country’s economy and mobility sector. Alongside the exhibition, daily interaction sessions were organized, covering topics such as International Auto Trade Dialogue, Future of EV Adoption in Nepal, Stability in Credit Policy, Flying Car Technology, and Youth Mobility. Distinguished national and international experts, including representatives from the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India and SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers), participated in these discussions.

On the closing day, the 21st Central Committee meeting of NADA announced its historic decision to transform the association into the “Federation of NADA Automobiles Nepal”, with a special general assembly scheduled for Bhadra 24. This step is regarded as a milestone move towards NADA’s Golden Jubilee celebration.
In the exhibition awards, Dipaal and MAW Auto Corp won Best Stall in four-wheeler vehicles, Royal Enfield Alpha Automotive secured Best Stall in two-wheelers, Adhyet EV Pvt. Ltd. won Best Stall in light commercial vehicles, Hitco Pvt. Ltd. bagged Best Supporting Stall, and Global IME Bank received Best Stall in banking and insurance.

Prominent dignitaries, including Rt. Hon. Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, senior political leaders, government secretaries, business leaders, and international delegates, visited the six-day exhibition. NADA also organized a blood donation program in collaboration with the Lions Club of Kathmandu during the event.
NADA President Karan Chaudhary extended heartfelt thanks to all sponsors, exhibitors, visitors, and stakeholders, stating that “NADA Auto Show 2025 not only revitalized the automobile industry but also contributed to reviving Nepal’s overall economic momentum.”
