Four Elected as Book Holder Members of Nepal Mountaineering Association

Kathmandu. The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) successfully conducted its election for the position of Book Holder Members on Sunday. The election saw the participation of members casting their votes to select representatives for the association’s executive body.

Out of a total of 645 votes cast, four candidates secured victory. The elected members are Zenzen Sherpa with 295 votes, Dabuti Sherpa with 273 votes, Dawa Tashi Sherpa with 244 votes, and Sandesh Sherpa with 198 votes. Their election highlights the growing involvement of Sherpa representatives within the association’s decision-making process.

With the announcement of results, the NMA has officially concluded the Book Holder Member election. The newly elected members are expected to contribute to strengthening the mountaineering sector and supporting the interests of climbers and mountain communities across Nepal.
