Nabil Bank Partners with Nimbuzz to Offer Data e-SIM and International Driving Permit Services via NBank App

Kathmandu . Nabil Bank Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nimbuzz to provide data e-SIM and international driving permit services to its customers. With this partnership, Nabil Bank customers can now access these services for various countries directly through the NBank mobile app.

The agreement was signed in a formal ceremony by Adarsh Bajgain, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank, and Rishabh Timilsina, Director of Nimbuzz.

Through the NBank app, customers can now purchase data e-SIMs for over 200 countries and regions, including China, India, the USA, Australia, Dubai, Thailand, Qatar, Japan, Korea, Italy, France, and Canada. The bank highlighted that students, international workers, and travelers can easily buy data plans for their destination country directly from the app, eliminating the need for KYC forms or foreign currency transactions abroad.

“Travelers often face internet issues and cumbersome SIM procedures abroad. With this service, users can conveniently purchase customized data packages through the app,” said Bajgain.

Additionally, customers can apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) through the NBank app. Prepared according to United Nations standards, the permit is valid in over 190 countries. Applicants can submit their application online within 10 minutes by uploading their local driving license. There is no exam requirement, and the digital permit is issued within 24 hours. The permit is available in both digital and physical card formats.

Rishabh Timilsina of Nimbuzz noted that the service would simplify cross-border travel for students, international workers, and other global travelers, making it convenient and stress-free.
