Kathmandu . Nepal has showcased its breathtaking natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and immense potential for adventure tourism at the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, one of the world’s leading global travel exhibitions. The event, being held from November 4 to 6 at ExCeL London, has drawn tourism professionals, investors, travel media, and stakeholders from across the globe.
This year, Nepal is participating with a strong delegation led by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), bringing together 27 tourism-based companies, including tour operators, hotels, airlines, conservation partners, and community-based tourism enterprises. Nepal aims to re-establish itself in the global market as a “Lifetime Experience Destination” by presenting its cultural heritage, Himalayan adventures, Buddhist and spiritual travel, rural tourism experiences, and success stories of wildlife conservation.
The Nepali delegation is led by Hari Prasad Mainali, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Chairman of NTB, while the overall coordination and international promotional campaign is being spearheaded by Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board.
Addressing the global platform, Chairman Mainali emphasized Nepal’s commitment to responsible, safe, and unique travel experiences.
“Nepal is a safe, attractive, and experience-rich destination. Participation in a world-class platform like WTM London will strengthen Nepal’s tourism identity and reinforce our global presence,” he stated.
Highlighting Nepal’s focus on responsible tourism, Mainali added:
“With new safety protocols, eco-friendly policies, and community-based conservation programs, Nepal inspires every traveler to contribute positively to local communities and the environment.”
NTB CEO Deepak Raj Joshi stressed Nepal’s renewed tourism positioning and growth ambitions.
“We are focused on positioning Nepal as a ‘Lifetime Experience Destination’ globally. Our participation at WTM London will play a crucial role in increasing tourist arrivals, expanding international partnerships, and strengthening Nepal’s tourism economy,” he said.
Inviting the global travelers to rediscover Nepal, Joshi noted:
