Two Matches Scheduled Today in Second Edition of Nepal Premier League

Kathmandu . Two matches are set to take place today in the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). At the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, Chitwan Rhinos will face Karnali Yaks in the first match at 11:45 AM, followed by a second clash between Biratnagar Kings and Pokhara Avengers.

All four teams aim to secure a strong start to their NPL campaign. Chitwan will take the field under the captaincy of Kushal Malla, while Sompal Kami will lead Karnali. Biratnagar Kings will be captained by Sandeep Lamichhane, and Kushal Bhurtel will lead Pokhara Avengers.

Earlier on Monday, Kathmandu Gorkhas made a winning start by defeating defending champions Janakpur Bolts by five wickets, earning two points on the leaderboard.

Organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the tournament kicked off on Mangsir 1. The final match is scheduled for Mangsir 27. According to CAN, the tournament champions will receive a prize of Rs 11 million.
