National Food Bank to Issue IPO Worth NPR 300 Million

Kathmandu .  National Food Bank Limited has announced that it will issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) worth NPR 300 million. For this purpose, the bank has signed an agreement with Global IME Capital Limited, appointing it as the issue manager.

The agreement was signed on Friday during a special ceremony held at the bank’s office in Koteshwor–32, Narephat. The signing was done by Shankarnath Upreti, Founder Chairperson of National Food Bank Limited; Jibanath Dhital, Company Secretary; and Mandip Luintel, Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Capital Limited.

Speaking at the ceremony, Founder Chairperson Upreti said that the IPO aims to further strengthen the bank and connect the general public through share ownership. He added that the move would enhance institutional transparency and public trust.

Company Secretary Dhital highlighted that the IPO would give the public an opportunity to invest in the Food Bank. He stated that the goal is to channel domestic capital into productive sectors, thereby accelerating the bank’s long-term plans.

Similarly, Global IME Capital CEO Luintel expressed commitment to making the IPO smooth, transparent, and investor-friendly. He remarked that it was a matter of pride for Global IME Capital to support the expansion of an institution like the Food Bank.
