Kathmandu: The Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) has urged trekkers to exercise caution as the Manaslu–Larke Pass trekking route has partially resumed operations following repair and maintenance work.
In a notice issued on Thursday, TAAN stated that the route had partially reopened after Dharche and Chumnubri rural municipalities jointly carried out repairs to access roads, trekking trails, bridges, teahouses and lodges damaged by the devastating floods in the Budhi Gandaki River.
Although the reopening is expected to ease trekking activities in the Manaslu region, some sections of the trail and infrastructure may still pose risks to trekkers.
TAAN has therefore advised visitors to remain alert and take necessary safety precautions while travelling through the affected areas.
With the partial reopening of the route, trekking activities in the Manaslu region are expected to gradually return to normal.
