Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Gorkhas will take on the Lumbini Lions today in a crucial encounter under the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL), the country’s franchise-based Twenty20 cricket tournament.
Led by captain Karan KC, the Kathmandu Gorkhas have played three matches so far, securing one win and facing two defeats. With two points on the table, the team currently sits in the third position and will be looking to strengthen its playoff prospects with a victory today.
On the other side, the Lumbini Lions, captained by Rohit Poudel, have also played three games and earned two points from a single win. A victory in today’s match is equally vital for Lumbini as both teams aim to stay alive in the playoff race.
