Kathmandu. Nepal has secured a place in the semifinals of the 1st Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind by defeating the United States in a match held in India on Sunday.
Nepal won the match by 10 wickets, successfully chasing the target of 18 runs set by the US without losing any wickets. The US, batting first, managed 17 runs before being bowled out in 9.4 overs.
With this victory, Nepal has accumulated six points from four matches in the tournament. Earlier, the team defeated Sri Lanka and Australia, but suffered a loss against India in the ongoing World Cup.
Nepal’s consistent performance has ensured a strong position as they move into the semifinals, aiming to continue their winning momentum.
