Kathmandu . The Geely EX5 electric vehicle has made a remarkable debut at the recently concluded NADA Auto Show, securing 187 bookings within just six days. Imported by LRR Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Dream Smart China, the EX5 has achieved early success in the Nepali market.
Displayed in two variants — Max and Pro — the Geely EX5 drew massive crowds to its stall throughout the exhibition. With advanced technology, extended driving range, and stylish design, the EV has impressed Nepali customers looking for a premium and reliable electric mobility solution.
“The overwhelming response for the Geely EX5 at NADA has given us great encouragement,” said Adhir Shrestha, Head of Sales and Operations at LRR Motors. “Receiving 187 bookings in six days reflects the growing trust in Geely’s innovation and the rising demand for sustainable mobility solutions in Nepal. According to Shrestha, one of the key attractions for Nepali consumers is the advanced battery technology used in the EX5. Manufactured by Geely Holding Group itself, the battery has passed the world’s first water, fire, and bulletproof certification. With a lifespan of 3,500 charge cycles (equivalent to 1 million kilometers or up to 50 years), it far surpasses the durability of conventional EV batteries. LRR Motors is also offering an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty on the battery.
The company said that the success of the Geely EX5 at NADA reinforces its vision of promoting eco-friendly transportation and supporting Nepal’s green mobility future. Deliveries of the booked vehicles have already begun.
