Kathmandu . The 17th edition of the NADA Auto Show has officially begun at Bhrikutimandap, inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. This year’s highlights include a flying car, humanoid robots, and advanced four-wheeled robots.
NADA President Karan Chaudhary said the event is not just an exhibition but also a major sales platform, accounting for nearly 40% of annual vehicle sales. A special “Made in Nepal Pavilion” is also showcasing locally produced tires and spare parts.
Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal noted the auto sector’s significant role in the economy, generating over one million jobs in Nepal.
With more than 125 automobile brands participating, organizers expect over 100,000 visitors. The show will run until August 24 (Bhadra 8).
